FT6381 mengukur tahanan pertanahan hanya dengan menjepit kabel pentanahan multi-ground. Tidak diperlukan batang pembumian tambahan, dan tidak perlu melepaskan kabel pembumian dari batang pentanahan. Sensor profil rendah yang ringkas dapat digunakan untuk menjepit kabel ground dengan mudah, dan juga menyediakan fungsionalitas pengukuran arus AC dan dapat mengukur arus mulai dari arus bocor pada urutan beberapa mA hingga memuat arus hingga 60 A.
